Ekseption Retin-Oil Peel (Professional use only)

Chemical peel for professionals with retinol, vitamin E and salicylic acid in an innovative oil texture.

Retin-oil peel belongs to skin treatments with that have a short recovery period. Retinol regulates the processes of differentiation, proliferation, and intercellular communication. When retinoids get into a cell, they make a bond with nuclear sensors. Thus, sections of the cell genome are activated or decelerated. The main advantages of this treatment are minimal skin damage, a brief recovery period and a low probability of complications. The retinol is coupled with salicylic acid for an intense exfoliation and keratolysis. The salicylic acid contributes to better epidermal structure, improves the skin texture and complexion. The use of it provides material improvement of the skin condition without interventional rejuvenation procedures. The salicylic acid has a strong antiseptic effect and evident cleansing properties as well. It normalizes the sebaceous glands functions and results in pores’ contraction. Another advantage is its effective compatibility with other types of peels (glycolic and lactic) meant for oily acne skin. The salicylic peel is effective in combating blackheads and acne especially when used with a mechanical (manual) face cleansing procedure. It’s safe to say that it is a peel for the young with oily skin with insignificant problems as well as for a mature skin showing photo- and biological aging.

Thoroughly cleanse and degrease the skin while protecting sensitive areas. Next, apply peel with fingertips, beginning with resistant areas on the face and moving toward the most sensitive ones (forehead, cheeks, chin, submaxillary region, upper lip, and nose). Allow to act for 5 minutes or until reaching the desired point, mild redness with no flaking. After this time, and to prevent the peel from continuing its actions and penetrating the skin, wash the area of application with abundant cold water. Upon the application of the peel, a stinging sensation may be experienced by the patient, which will disappear in few minutes. Complete the treatment by applying a repair cream. Avoid sun exposure for the next 12 hours after the peel. The following days apply the all-day shield during the day and the repair cream at night.
A warming sensation can occur the next 3-4 days when a cream or water is applied over the face. The skin can show signs of hypersensitivity that should disappear within few days.
