Ekseption White Up+ Peptide Peel (Professional use only)

Chemical peel for professionals' sodium lactate, peptides, and a blend of acids (phytic, Mandelik, lactobionic, gluconolactone, tranexamic and Mandelik) selected for their ability to smooth, enlighten the skin tone and reduce pigmentation. Buffered to a pH of 3.

A synergy of 6 types of acid and peptides to target the skin whitening. All the selected acids have a high molecular weight avoiding their penetration further than the epidermis and avoiding usual burning sensation from peels. It can be applied even on the most sensitive skin and high photo types. Skin-whitening effect is achieved through removal of the horned layer; skin becomes smoother, lighter and the action of tranexamic acid in small amounts can bleach pigmented spots and reduce redness. In dermatology the effects of tranexamic acid have been known for a long time, namely in the context of pigment disorders. The first report on the treatment of melasmas with tranexamic acid dates back to 1979, the intensity of a melasma was significantly reduced within a period of two to three weeks. A variety of biochemical mechanisms have been discussed, among them the inhibition of tyrosinase and the preceding processes such as the reduction of free arachidonic acid and prostaglandin E2. Besides the bleaching effect, tranexamic acid also reduces the translucent reddish color of the superficial blood vessels. The result is an even complexion.

Thoroughly cleanse and degrease with the Ekseption degreasing solution while protecting sensitive areas. Next, apply peel beginning with resistant areas on the face and moving toward the most sensitive ones (forehead, cheeks, chin, submaxillary region, upper lip, and nose). Allow to act for 4 to 8 minutes or until reaching the desired point, mild redness with no flaking. After this time, and to prevent the peel from continuing its actions and penetrating the skin, neutralize it with the Ekseption Carboxy neutralizer and wash the area of application with abundant cold water. After applying the peel, areas that are warm to the touch or erythema's may appear. Should this occur, further neutralization is needed. If the peel has been applied to more than three areas simultaneously, we recommend neutralizing them all. Upon the application of the peel, a stinging sensation may be experienced by the patient, which will disappear in few minutes. Complete the treatment by applying a repair cream. Avoid sun exposure for the next 12 hours after the peel. The next day’s apply the all-day shield during the day and the repair cream at night.
